This design/build project was comprised of demolishing an existing wooden barracks building, and constructing three 3-story barracks totaling approximately 265,000 sf. The construction was load bearing masonry (split-face) walls, 8" precast hollow-core planks with topping slabs, wood trusses, and prefinished aluminum standing seam roof. The structure provided over 580 dormitory rooms, housing two people per room.
