The
successful
candidate will lead the Estimating Department, possess a solid, stable
15 plus years of employment history in leading construction estimating
of federal government projects. A four year construction
related degree is preferred, but not required. Responsibility
include, but are not limited to, the
acquisition of new work through competitive bidding or
negotiation; project buyout; the transition of projects to project
management;
and providing a positive contribution to executive management. Strong
negotiation, time management and
communications (written and verbal) skills, and attention to detail is
required,
along with proven leadership and mentoring skills, and a clearly
demonstrated record
of success in the competitively bid (hard dollar) market.
Proficiency
in MS Office
Suites, as well as
Timberline Estimating Software is required.

As Proposal Manager, you will contribute to the development of winning
proposals for Federal Government agencies. In addition, to
a Bachelor's Degree (Technical Writing, English, Communications,
Journalism, or Marketing), the successful candidate will
possess
a portfolio of writing samples reflective of their record of success in
procuring Federal Government contracts. In-depth experience
and
comprehension of the Federal Government request for proposal process,
along with superior written and oral communications skills, excellent
strategic thinking skills, creative problem-solving skills, ability to
prioritize multiple tasks, and the ability to work well in a
deadline-oriented atmosphere is required.
