This project
consisted of building a 100,000 sf health care facility, in addition to
a new central energy plant on the Winnebago Indian Reservation. The
main building had four levels housing twelve tribal health programs
including dentistry, diabetes, birthing center, podiatry, mental
health, acute care, and 24-hour emergency care. The project included
medical and dental equipment, sterilizers, hydraulic elevators, a
roof-top helicopter landing pad, heat recovery system, underground
distribution systems, underslab snow melt system at all entrances to
the building, specialty gas, and hospital grade electrical systems,
including extensive backup generators to allow continuing operation of
the hospital during power outages.
