This project consists of removal of the existing I-wall; construction of approximately 4,950 feet of new T-wall; transition of the T-wall to the existing levee on the east end and a portion of the levee to be constructed in this project; construction of 2,120 feet of levee by enlarging the existing levee, including slope pavement on the floodside; construction of approximately 125 feet of new I-wall; and flood protection improvements to the outfall of the St. Charles Pump Station, including an automated sluice gate.
