Winnebago, Nebraska is part of the Winnebago Indian Reservation, home to over 10,000 members of the Winnebago and Omaha Indian Tribes in the tri-state area of Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota.

Project Details

We assisted the Indian Health Services division of the Department of Health and Human Services with the construction of this new hospital and medical facility. The new facility includes spaces for medical, dental, physical and occupational therapy, laboratory, outpatient clinic, optometry, counseling, and pharmacy, in addition to the facilities 24-hour emergency room. The facility features unique Native American aspects such as an outdoor ceremonial fire pit, a meditation spirit room, and an interior atrium representing Winnebago lore.
